Day 1
Depart London to fly to Jakarta....People travelling from outside the UK can meet the group in Jakarta any time on day 2.
Day 2
Arrive Jakarta where I will meet you at the airport. Transfer to hotel which has a swimming pool, steam room, sauna etc . Evening meal together at the hotel.
Day 3
Fly to Borneo together.
Transfer by car to Kumai (approx 45 mins)
Boat to Rimba Lodge (approx 1.5 hours)
We will arrive at our base in the national park about 2pm which gives us a chance to relax and freshen up before an early evening river trip to find Proboscis monkeys followed by supper together at Rimba Lodge.
Day 4 to 9
Stay at Rimba Lodge and explore the national park by day. We will visit a number of orangutan feeding platforms in the national park along with at least 2 visits to the famous Camp Leakey research centre.
Day 10
Morning boat back to Kumai; transfer by car to Pangkalanbun; Fly Pangkalanbun to Jakarta arriving at approx. 17.00 pm Transfer to airport hotel for the night or fly back home depending on flight schedules.
Day 10 or 11 (Depending on your onward travel plans)
Depart Jakarta to fly back to London
Day 12
Arrive home
