Orangutan Photo Holidays

Orangutan holidays, Borneo

Glide down gorgous rivers and visit orangutan feeding sites and the famous Camp Leakey research centre with photographer Ian Wood and Ashley Leiman (OBE), director of the UK Orangutan Foundation. This trip is aimed at anyone who would like to develop their photography skills whilst gently exploring this stunning national park. It is suitable for all levels and above all else our aim is to make the tour fun; we certainly don't get stuck behind the lens of a camera all of the time! You will get the opportunity to get very close to lots of the wildlife so you don't need specialist camera equipment... any camera is fine. As well as over 4000 orangutans this bio-diversity hotspot is home to 30 other mammal species, 260 types of birds and 17 different reptiles.

"My trip to Borneo was all I imagined and more. If you're looking for a holiday where you walk away feeling like you've gained an insight into another world, then this is the one for you. Amazing!"
Rebecca Logan

Based at a comfortable rain forest lodge, we will explore the park by boat and on foot. The profit from these trips is donated to the Orangutan Foundation to help them continue their work in protecting this beautiful area. Suitable for anyone with a  camera and a love of nature. The group is limited to 7 people and a minimum of £350 per person is donated directly to The Orangutan Foundation.
