moutain gorilla holidays PHOTOGRAPHY & WRITING BY IAN WOOD

Orangutan holidays Borneo

Glide down gorgeous rivers and visit orangutan feeding sites and the Camp Leakey research centre with photographer Ian Wood and Ashley Leiman (OBE), director of the UK Orangutan Foundation. This trip is aimed at anyone who would like to develop their photography skills whilst gently exploring this stunning national park. It is suitable for all levels and above all else our aim is to make the tour fun. As well as meeting these great apes up close - you'll help to protect them - as the profit from these trips is donated to the Orangutan Foundation. You'll get the opportunity to get very close to lots of the wildlife so you don't need specialist camera equipment. As well as over 4000 orangutans this bio-diversity hotspot is home to 30 other mammal species, 260 types of birds and 17 different reptiles.

"My trip to Borneo was all I imagined and more. If you're looking for a holiday where you walk away feeling like you've gained an insight into another world, then this is the one for you. Amazing!"
